Key responsibilities included: Assisting the senior trader pricing client flow and managing risk on the AUD medium term IRS, cross currency and tenor basis books in Sydney hours. Coverage of pricing, risk management and book ownership in the NZD IRS and xccy book. Pricing/hedging the non-core risks in the book in G10 rates and fx, as well as managing the cross gamma positions resulting from multiple collaterals and seasoned trades. Worked closely with desk strats to develop scenario analysis and cross correlations setups to better manage risk across G10 rates. Priced and hedged larger RM and global HF flows in London hours for 6 months as sole coverage, diverse range of enquiry but larger than the typical Sydney flow.
