Decibel is an independent venture firm, based in Silicon Valley. We back technical founders and help them find product-market fit and accelerate their business. We invest in Seed, Series A, and Series B stage software companies, with a special focus on Developer Platforms, Open Source, Cybersecurity, and ML and AI Infrastructure and Applications. We’ve built a large and growing network of early adopters and buyers of new technology products and connect them to our portfolio companies. We also help them define and run their marketing and sales playbooks by connecting them with best practices and our rich network of advisors who include successful founders and executives from our community.

Companies we partnered with include Panther Labs, Bigeye, Cube.dev, DeepSource, Launchable, Oort, and more. I also lead product development for 645 Voyager, our internal software platform. Can't get away from product too much :) 645 Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm that partners with exceptional founders who are building iconic companies. We invest at the Seed and Series A stages and leverage our Voyager software platform to enable our Success team and Connected Network to help founders scale to the growth stage. We invest in four main areas: The Engineering Value Chain Revolution, SaaS for the Second Wave, Citizen Professionals, and Personalized Consumer Applications. Smart Torvy is a open source home automation ecosystem. We designed the PCB boards, the 3D casing for them and the software that connected everything together. Showcased at Maker Faire Rome in 2014 and 2016.
