I invested globally with a focus on FinTech and Enterprise but also spent time in Infrastructure and Consumer. I approach early stage investing with a talent first perspective. I look to support founders challenging the status quo with authenticity, humility, and first principles. I couple investing with deep operating expertise to help founders start and scale. I love being a hands-on board member, advisor, and mentor.

2016 - 2018

  • CMO / Head of Marketing

    2016 - 2018

I led Marketing at Stripe, a software platform for building an internet business. Companies use Stripe to sell to anyone, anywhere in new ways, handling billions of dollars every year for forward-thinking businesses around the world. I established the marketing function with Stripe's valuation increasing from $9Bn to $20Bn in a time of exponential growth in every aspect of the company. We hired 15 people in 12 months to establish teams leading brand and content, product marketing, user growth and acquisition, digital channels, and international marketing. We established the fundamental technology, data, and analytic systems to enable customer acquisition and retention. We started to expand the Stripe brand across audience segments, established our user engagement strategy and launched multiple new products along with Stripe's first user conferences, Stripe Sessions, in the US and London. We applied a multi-channel approach to product adoption, increasing new user acquisition by 40% through paid media and organic strategies.

2011 - 2016

  • Vice President, Global Marketing

    2015 - 2016

I held an executive level role and had broad impact in supporting LinkedIn’s revenue growth from $200MM at IPO in 2011 to $4Bn+ in 5 years, a 80% CAGR, leading to the acquisition by Microsoft in June 2016. I led Global Marketing for 3 business units at LinkedIn, driving $1.5Bn+ in revenue across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customer segments. Our work spanned 15 markets, and we scaled a global marketing team from 3 to 100 charged with the full stack of marketing investment areas and functions: product marketing, content marketing, demand generation, online, social media, brand and events. Our team consistently exceeded monthly and quarterly financial targets with marketing delivering 50% of new customer growth. Throughout my years, I owned global marketing strategy, drove product and pricing strategy through customer and competitive market analysis, and played an active role in press, media, and investor and analyst relations.

  • Senior Director, Global Marketing

    2011 - 2015

I joined LinkedIn to build the global marketing team, our go-to-market strategy and execution for the Marketing Solutions business. I was a cross-functional leader working with product, sales and engineering to drive results for our business. Since 2011, we significantly evolved our advertising business into a powerful platform that helps companies from enterprises to SMBs effectively engage with the 400M professionals on LinkedIn. We led this evolution by investing in content solutions that are now central to how marketers build their brands, engage prospects and acquire and develop new customers.

2008 - 2011

  • Marketing Director

    2008 - 2011

I led go-to market strategy, business and category positioning, content development, research and insights for $1Bn+ global advertising business. I was charged with planning and executing global thought leadership platform, informing the regional strategy across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.

Led marketing for Massive, a gaming technology company acquired to help power monetization of Xbox, leading global strategy, market research, thought leadership, public relations, and CEO communications.
