    Responsible for product design & architecture, establishing the engineering culture at Zynga, scaling dev teams, common Zynga tech platform, and growing games to tens of millions of daily users. - Designed and headed up development efforts on FarmVille, Treasure Isle, and other Zynga properties. - Spearheaded design/development on CityVille and architected new graphics engine currently in-use in that game. - Was main architect for the "ZEngine" software stack in use at Zynga. ZEngine was initially developed off of MyMiniLife tech and now powers games such as FarmVille, CityVille, Treasure Isle, and FrontierVille. - Created "ExampleVille" social game framework. ExampleVille is the starting point for all new web games at Zynga and has been a major competitive advantage by letting Zynga develop high production value social games quickly. - Started & headed up the Shared Tech Group within Zynga to build and maintain a common platform for Zynga's games. Our two main technologies: ZEngine and ExampleVille are the basis for all Zynga games post-FarmVille. - Managed Zynga Germany acquisition/formation, integration, and scaling. Zynga Germany is based off the acquisition of HTML5 engine developer Dextrose AB. - Developed and maintained relationships with strategic external technical partners. - Performed M&A diligence for dozens of potential Zynga acquisitions. - On-boarded the technical staff of several new Zynga studios, designed and held bootcamps & hack-a-thons for new Zynga hires, and generally spent a lot of time interviewing and training new talent.

Part of the core team that created FarmVille within 5 weeks and grew it to be the top application on Facebook with over 32m+ people playing daily and 60m+ playing monthly. Headed up a team of 15+ developers and implemented scalable development processes that would eventually be adopted by multiple Zynga studios.
