Our software enabled neighbors to connect with one another and with local businesses while leveraging their collective buying power to save money on services and products for the home. By coordinating purchases and grouping appointments and deliveries with other neighbors, residents achieved greater discounts and allowed local businesses to serve them more efficiently. Our goal was to transform the way that city dwellers identified with their residential buildings (apartment renters, condo owners) by giving the power back to residents and local businesses. As cities grow at an unprecedented speed, we believe that innovations in technology can be used to design communities that are more efficient, responsive and resilient.

Working with early stage companies focused on urban innovation technology. The mandate of Tumml (now The Urban Innovation Fund) was to back companies building products that address the livability, sustainability, and economic vitality of cities (e.g. Proptech, Transportation, Supply Chain, Climate, Energy, Public Health, Food Systems) and offering early stage capital and regulatory and policy support through exceptional advisors and mentors. Some of the deals that I got to work on while at Tumml include: Hitch (acq by Lyft) - transportation tech Chariot (acq by Ford) - transportation tech Valor Water Analytics (acq by Xylem) - water tech Neighborly - Fintech / Govtech

Early employee (<10) of the first cross-platform leasing, asset management and marketing platform for the commercial real estate industry. I was part of the founding Sales team launching our product in new geographies across the country, and working closely with the CEO to develop product and user feedback from interviews of brokers, many of whom I had worked with in my prior role at CBRE, synthesizing and distilling those insights into actionable requests for our Engineering team. Launched during the financial crisis when real estate asset managers were looking for new and innovative ways to lease and sell office space, v1 of the product was an online marketing tool and listing marketplace leveraging video software that was replacing physical, print flyers used within the industry. Using video, distribution, and real-time analytics, the technology helped users create leasing opportunities and manage the entire deal process from start to finish. The product evolved to include a suite of software tools to manage real estate transactions and tenant relationships, and today the larger platform gives asset owners and managers forward-looking market data to inform asset and investment strategies.
