Responsible for the technological side of the business, including leading the development of software products, management and recruitment of technical staff, knowledge management, project management and business development. I&DT offers SaaS solutions based on a generic application framework developed in-house. As the Lead Software Architect and CTO I was responsible for the technical side of designing, building and maintaining the framework, the products and the SaaS infrastructure. The development was carried out in a tightly knit technical team of 4-6 developers working with an agile development process. SaaS solutions based on this framework were offered for industries as diverse as NGOs, medical rehabilitation and organic food producers. Conducted research on using platform independent models in the Model Driven Architecture (MDA). Subjects included the implications of MDA on requirements, verfication and validation, quality attributes and software processes. Founded a community on the subject during this period to establish a discussion platform.
