    2019

    Leading new technology programs with major partners and customers. Responsible for programs on 5G Cloud RAN and communication solutions for remote operation of drones/robots.

  • Director, Ericsson Garage, Technology Incubator, Silicon Valley

    2016 - 2019

    Launched the first corporate incubator of the company in Silicon Valley, and helped grow the incubator network to 15 sites globally. Bootstrapped local ecosystem of startups, universities, accelerators, VCs. Managed a portfolio of incubation projects, many showcased by the CEO at Mobile World Congress, the #1 telecommunications industry event. Managed cross-organizational project and program teams with 5 direct reports.

  • Engineering Director, Networking & Cloud Research Lab, Silicon Valley

    2013 - 2016

    Led product initiatives on core 5G technology components: Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Network Slicing, Edge Computing. Managed 20 engineers and the budgets of engineering programs.

  • Manager, Networking Technology Research Lab, Hungary

    2008 - 2013

    Developed the first SDN product prototype for the service provider domain. Led projects on 4G packet core, LTE radio network control, and mobile backhaul. Led the planning, organization, and execution of major multi-lateral projects with large corporate, start-up, and academic partners. Managed a team of 12 engineers.

    Shaped Internet and Telecommunications industry standards in IETF and IEEE. Authored 8 IETF RFCs. Served on the IETF Nomination Committee.
