Participated in a weekend course where I discovered the different roles involved in the financial industry through practical work and lectures. I extended my knowledge of the interaction between the buy side and sell side of the industry and the roles available in each. I also learnt the importance of keeping up with current macro events when building an investment portfolio. Thanks to this course I developed a particular interest in sales and trading and have continued to watch Amplify's daily videos on macro events and the significance this has on various markets.
