I started Scope3 with Andrew Sweeney, Anne Coghlan, Emma Etherington, Holly Peck, and Mike Freyberger. Our mission is encoded into the company’s charter as a public benefit corporation: to decarbonize the global economy, thus reducing the negative effects of greenhouse gas emissions on society, people, communities and the environment as a whole.

I co-founded Waybridge and led the company through the successful development and deployment of its first product, a collaborative platform that tracks commodities end-to-end from mine through manufacturing. In December 2021, I handed the reins to my co-founder, Scott Evans, to work full-time on Scope3.

I supported the transition process to integrate AppNexus into Xandr and AT&T.
2007 - 2018
I co-founded AppNexus in my apartment in 2007 and sold it to AT&T in 2018. Over those 11 years, we built a very special company, aligned around our mission to create a better internet. We lived our values: to learn and teach, to empower our customers, to see and improve the whole system, and to make greatness happen. We tried hard to build an inclusive culture where a very diverse group of people, around the world, could thrive and feel like they belonged.

As Right Media's CTO, I'm reponsible for the design and architecture of our various product lines. In addition, I work with our largest clients, like Yahoo, to help them get the most from our products. I oversee a few different groups: technical operations (a 20-person team that keeps our systems running smoothly 24/7), analytics (leveraging the data we collect to predict how creatives and campaigns will perform), and Media Guard (auditing the creatives and sites in the exchange to protect advertisers and publishers).

Cetova developed a proprietary technology to vastly simplify financial analysis and reporting for large enterprises using ERP systems. I led the growth of Cetova from a technology prototype to a full-featured product. I sold and managed key accounts, including LVMH and Philips, de Pury, Luxembourg.

Logic Span specialized in helping companies use technology to improve their marketing strategies. I managed the real-time personalization practice, helping companies like American Express use their customer information to cross-sell and up-sell.
