    The Social Innovations team at Mercy Corps designs and catalyzes financially sustainable, scalable ventures -- aiming to reach one million people within five years and achieve social impact for Base of the Pyramid (BOP) populations. Over the past three years, the team has supported innovations in the banking, ICT, and mobile arenas. As the Director of Social Innovations Special Initiatives, Cameron was responsible for the identification, management and success of programs of strategic importance to the unit. She focused on: - Overseeing or supporting key digital financial services and impact investing initiatives in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. - Managing $40m social impact fund in conjunction with USAID and Skoll Foundation. - Building and managing strategic partnerships with corporate, technology, academic, government, and non-profit organizations. - Managing or supporting business development activities. - Incubating, capitalizing and launching key innovations ventures. - Presenting and representing the Social Innovations team at events and in the public domain.
