Venture Fellowship in collaboration with Hummingbird Ventures and SynBio UK. Deep-dive research on the current synthetic cell market and competitor technologies for targeted drug delivery systems, biomanufacturing and diagnostics, culminating in investment recommendations. Deliverables included a comprehensive report, rapid summary pitch presentation and blog post found on the SynBio UK website. Selected winner from competitive nationwide cohort of 13 Fellows.

- Volunteer Reserve RAF - Managed a flight of students under my command as an APO - Organised and participated in field exercises and overseas expeditions, including activities with other University Air Squadrons - Preliminary flight training

Summer internship doing laboratory research on mitochondrial genetics. Carried out multiple projects covering primer design, Gibson assembly, transfection of Hek cells and assays to confirm successful transfection including western blots, BCA and fluorescence microscopy.

A week of laboratory work to assist PhD students investigating the role of the integrin alpha-v beta-6 in the metastasis and growth of pancreatic tumour cells and the potential of targeting it as a diagnostic tool and therapy source
