Remote Software Development Intern

Collaborated with an international team of seven interns on Blockchain Common's projects currently under development. Worked as lead developer of Spotbit, a portable Tor-based cryptocurrency market data server. Assisted other interns with integrating Spotbit into Gordian Wallet, Blockchain Common's iOS full node management app. Helped develop a standardized process for Blockchain Common's development, including best git practices, shared research techniques, and communication, for the benefit of future interns. Deployed Spotbit to a home server setup and to a Blockchain Commons controlled VPS. Assisted other interns with programming issues where possible.

- Collect and analyze data about various cryptocurrency markets from a variety of sources, including exchange API’s and coinmarketcap. - Using Excel and Python to acquire and process the data. Analyze mathematical trends in data, including drawdown, Sharpe ratio, and returns distributions. - Produced publication-quality graphs and figures for use in various publications and documents. - Contributor to “An Introduction to Bitcoin and Cboe XBT Bitcoin Futures” whitepaper, published by Cboe. - Used scraped data to analyze quantitative trends and signals within the data. - Created ExVol, an automated tool for gathering coimarketcap data and inserting into spreadsheets. - Managed large datasets of market data on remote servers and wrote python scripts to acquire, manage, transform the data for use in quantitative analysis.

Duties include using registers to sell tickets and concessions, cleaning floors and theaters, maintaining clean working spaces, restocking products as necessary, and taking inventory.

Camp Counselor

2017 - 2017

Managed group of 25 campers aged 8-13 during mornings and afternoons. Ran several “specialty” camps, focused on developing certain skills for longer periods of time. Camps included mountain biking and computer programming. Monitored morning and afternoon bus route, supervising children while on the bus and transferring children to their parents at bus stops, while maintaining open communication with parents at each stop.
