The venture capital firm was founded in 2012 and has backed more than 100 startups. The portfolio includes companies such as Trade Republic, WorldRemit, sennder, KRY, Spryker, Catawiki, Unmind and Voi. I spend most of my time looking into Logistics & Supply Chain and Climate.

Baby vc is a bootcamp for those who aspire to join the venture capital community. We organise a 9-week programme during which a group of aspiring VCs meet those who make venture capital, learn what it takes to break into VC, and get first-hand insights into the investment process from sourcing to post-investment support. I supported the expansion of baby vc into Germany and was Community Lead on the team organising the first German bootcamp 🇩🇪

Teaching Assistant

Part of the teaching team of the class "ENGIN 183c - Designing Startups to Transform Society". This course teaches entrepreneurship through the lens doing good while doing well. We explored how for-profit ventures can be designed to do well (valuations and ROI), and also do good – helping communities to become self-reliant, prosperous while confronting inequality, global climate change, food insecurity, climate change, social justice and other problems. Responsible for class coordination and grading.

Worked on: - Customer Support: Responded to 600+ email and chat requests over the first 4 months - Customer Success and Account Management: Onboarded and managed 14 customers with a total value of 2500€MRR - Pricing: Analysed past pricing performance and competitor pricing to issue suggestions for new pricing model to increase recurring revenue - Automations: Used no-code/low-code tools, such as Integromat and Airtable, to automate recurring processes
