Broad remit that included: - Executed five proof of concepts and pilots with our first two healthcare customers, UHC and HCA Healthcare, as the sole developer and data scientist, securing 7-figure deals with each as anchor customers. - Production implementation of neural network based clinical NLP system for identifying incidental cancer findings across 200 hospitals. - Product owner of a data science suite for unstructured data called "Synthesys Studio" that supported a notebook interface, an active learning data annotator, and a Spark runtime

CTO Office - Deep Learning Researcher

Researching - Used prospective technology solutions to spearhead entry into a new healthcare vertical. - Trained 160 billion parameter language model as a part of a two man research team. - Exceeded best published results in neural word embedding quality and sentiment analysis (presentation linked below)

CTO and Co-Founder

Co-founder of a political transparency startup. We developed a system to expose trends in political campaign finance, lobbying, and legislator voting using machine learning and data visualization. Accepted to the Jumpstart Foundry accelerator which included a pre-seed investment. Turned down an unfavorable acquisition and folded the company due to poor traction in our ~18 months of operating.
