I currently work as the head of the data-driven consulting practice at Accenture, where I was lucky enough to be able to create a practice founded on customer experience, build a team, market and scope our services and sell the first consulting products at the company. My team improves the customer experience strategy, hiring, process, tech, data, and culture of companies like Verizon, Tesco, Lululemon, Best Buy, Bass Pro Shop, Build.com, Lowe's, Microsoft, YouTube, Office Depot, Adidas, Wolverine Worldwide, L.L.     HelpAttack! was a technology/social media startup in Austin, TX focused on changing the way people donate to nonprofits across the world through social media. It was the brainchild of Sarah Vela and developed together with CTO Ehren Foss and COO David J. Neff. After raising a friends and family round, we ran the business for several years and we sold HelpAttack! in January, 2013 to a nonprofit database organization.

    I was the creator/founder and former CEO of Lights. Camera. Help. This was a globally-focused nonprofit that helps other nonprofits tell their stories using film. I also served as the VP of the Board of Directors. We did this through education and volunteer match programs, screenings and an annual cause-driven film festival. As the CEO I was responsible for: Resource Development: -Foster and maintain healthy relationships with major donors and sponsors, including regular follow-up with current sponsors. -Coordinate and support special events to develop donor relations. -Grant preparation and identifying opportunities to partner with like-minded organizations on major projects. Recruiting grant writing volunteers. -Recognize that volunteers are a critical resource; support and expand an already strong volunteer base. Community and Government Relations: -Be proactive in cultivating relationships with other community not-for-profit organizations. -Develop and maintain positive relationships with representatives of government agencies. Nonprofit Management: -Oversee and manage all aspects of the various LCH programs -Create and work with the LCH Board to formalize a strategic plan and modify as appropriate. Establish financial and other performance measurements and report progress against the plan on a regular basis. -Participate in the recruitment and selection of new Board members. -Actively participate in all standing committee meetings. Assist with operational planning and coordinate communication among the various committees. -Hire, supervise, and evaluate volunteer staff. -Collaborate on various public relations initiatives.     At the American Cancer Society, I led all Digital Strategy for eight U.S. States as the Director of Web, Film and eCommerce Strategy. This included Online Fundraising, Online Community Building, signing our first contract for an eCommerce vendor in 2003, as well as building out cancer.org, and leading our social media and eCommerce efforts across the US.
