Project Development Manager

Manage and co-ordinate a commercially targeted project portfolio in the pharmaceutical and medical device area. The projects are in different development life cycle stages - ranging from pre-clinical, clinical study and CE marking approval – and belong to different departments within UCL but also external industry partners. As Project Development Manager of new technologies my main duties are as follows: - Plan, oversee and manage the running of pharmaceutical and medical device projects according to relevant regulatory pathways and quality activities - Project management from project assessment, evaluation to agreed exit strategies in order to ensure value maximization before licensing - Responsible to deliver projects not only according to plan but also within agreed costs - Project and product risks management activities - Liaise with third parties such as project sponsors (i.e. Welcome Trust), regulatory authorities (MHRA) and suppliers - Working on clinical trial documentation for regulatory approval and the initiation of clinical research
