Select investments include Adams Energy, an ethanol production technology that uses waste steam from power plants; Global Fresh Foods (now BluWrap), a controlled atmosphere packaging technology that allows perishable foods like fish to last 30+ days at room temperature and facilitates cheaper transport of food around the world; and Transactiv, a cloud-based supply chain management platform (like LinkedIn for manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers). Select middle market transactions include Industrial Piping Inc., an industrial pipe fabricator; and Rush Fitness, a growing fitness chain in the south eastern US.
