The Hernan Lopez Family Foundation was established to help advance diversity in leadership, both from the demand side as well as the supply side, and funded with a significant share of the proceeds of the sale of Wondery. In addition to supporting other 501(c)(3) organizations directly, our Fellowship program, now in its 4th year, directly works with diverse professionals and entrepreneurs.

Danvas brought digital art into the real world through a specialized, luxury LED display and groundbreaking software capable of playing generative art across multiple displays. In just over a year, Danvas’ products were featured by Sotheby’s, Christie’s, Pace Gallery and Art Blocks, awarded a patent, and recognized by Fast Company’s Innovation By Design Awards.

Helped create The Podcast Academy, the association of podcast industry professionals that organizes The Ambies, in addition to training and mentorship programs

2016 - 2021

Started the company that would become known for its emotionally immersive storytelling podcasts, including Dirty John, Dr Death, Business Wars, American History Tellers, WeCrashed, Dying For Sex, many of them adapted for TV. Post VC-funding (Greycroft, LererHippeau, Advancit, Waverley), scaled it to become the largest independent podcast player before exiting to Amazon Music in 2021.

Scaled and ran Fox International Channels, which operated hundreds of channels around the world under the Fox, FX, NatGeo, Star and other brands, production houses, and digital extensions (today part of Disney), growing to $3bn in revenue by the time I left to start Wondery
