    A failed but encouraging project: I founded a seed VC fund and raised from scratch 12 Mill € from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and prominent Spanish executives to invest in disruptive Spanish internet startups. I did not achieve the minimum fund size and had to start again.

  • Early Stage Investor - Angel Fund Manager

    2013 - 2015

    Created a successful angel portfolio of investments from Barcelona, launched conector.com accelerator, ideated and launched nuclio.com Venture Builder. Relevant investments: Akamon (sold by €26Mn), Kantox (raised €29,5Mn), Deporvillage (sold for €140Mn), Captio (sold to Certify for €25Mn €3,5), Chicfy, and Kompyte.

    Spanish PE middle-market firm with € 1Bn under management. With direct report to the Chairman, I helped launch the Brazilian office and participated in the acquisition of Rubaiyat (€46Mn), Betapack (€40Mn) and Clece (€80Mn) and executed M&A strategies to expand them into Brazil.

    Helped Spanish middle-market companies internationalize in Brazil advising their "go to market" strategy (from strategy definition to finding key local partners and distribution channels) and promoting alliances between Spanish and Brazilian companies in food, industrial goods and healthcare.
