    6 month internship turned full-time design and factory assistant. Projects undertaken revolve around mechanical mechanisms being used within rollercoaster (luge) carts. They include designing an automatic connecting/disconnecting hook mechanism between the handle of luge carts and a typical ski resort chair lift, transporting the cart to the top of the slope.

    I took part in an assistant role in a small design team for three weeks assisting in the development of new parts for a more sustainable range of whisky distilleries. Tasks included: - Learning and applying CAD drawings to current parts used specifically on distilleries using Solidworks 3D design software. - Consultation with colleagues to investigate and criticise current solutions and projects.
