• Independently carried out experiments aimed at understanding the role of neural stem cell infection and viral gene expression in the development of spongiform neuropathogenesis • Managed the care for the mouse colony, including genotyping and phenotyping of multiple transgenic lines and breeding animals into appropriate backgrounds • Provided managerial oversight of the laboratory including chemical inventory, sample archives, retrovirus preparation and analysis, tissue culture cell maintenance and analysis, stock solution preparation, supply and reagent ordering
