The Seraphim Space Fund is the world’s leading Venture Capital fund focused on the Space sector. Powered by smart capital from leading Space companies and government agencies, the fund has become the most prolific venture capital investor globally within the Space sector. We invest right across the SpaceTech ecosystem, from seed to Series B. As Chief Investment Officer, I’ve had overall responsibility for building a portfolio of c.20 of the world’s highest potential SpaceTech start-ups.

Backed by c.100 leading UK/US business angels, Seraphim Capital was a £30m early stage fund that pioneered the angel/VC model in Europe. Built a portfolio of 12 IP-led early stage deeptech companies spanning artificial intelligence (computer vision, neural networks, machine learning), the Internet of Things (software, sensors), advanced materials (polymers, semiconductors). Completed 30+ early stage VC investment rounds totaling c.$100m (majority in lead role).
2017
Seraphim Space Camp the first accelerator programme dedicated to SpaceTech start-ups. It is supported by some of the world’s leading corporates and agencies in Aerospace, Space and SatComs. More than 40 early stage SpaceTech companies have now graduated from the programme across 6 cohorts, collectively raising more than $50m in funding.

Burlington was a boutique strategy consulting firm and a leading provider of commercial due diligence on private equity / corporate M&A transactions. Burlington was acquired by Deloitte in August 2005. I conducted both buy and sell side commercial due diligence on c.15 M&A transactions / $4.5bn total value ranging in size from $30m to $2bn across a diverse set of sectors.
