KEY DUTIES - Developed a range of COVID-related projects focusing on performance marketing, cost control, and short-term revenue generation. - Devised a unified 2020 roadmap focused on emerging market opportunities and differentiation, including new self-serve and SaaS offerings. - Released the next-generation CTV solution – an innovative solution allowing brands to engage the modern streaming TV audience by interests, in-market signals, and location.

    KEY DUTIES - Administered a $45M annual budget, a team of 350 people, and ~$2B in yearly product revenue and consolidated multiple product, engineering, and IT teams into a one cohesive unit functioning on common standards in a common framework. - Executed numerous key solutions, including dynamic mobile ads, CTV, personalized direct mail, multi-touch attribution, influencer and paid social, multi-KPI bidding technology, and omnichannel performance marketing. - Built a massively successful programmatic advertising business at Valassis, driving 100% growth two years in a row. - Started two new lines of business in search engine marketing (SEM) and social influencer, each delivering $20M in their first year of operation. - Continued the successful integration of enterprise data systems, retired substantial technical debt, and integrated onto a single data platform. - Led the turnaround of the Valassis Digital business by building a sustainable model for growth/market leadership and recruited a top-tier engineering leadership team without incurring any recruitment costs. - Developed and delivered Apio − the company's first novel digital product, and served as a key member of the corp dev team that completed acquisitions of Spotzot, RetailMeNot, and Maxpoint Interactive. - Awarded a patent for a novel method for distribution, validation, and clearing of digital coupons using blockchain. - Awarded Product of the Year at the Sammys two years running for the Valassis Consumer Graph.

Our site makes it easy for residential consumers and commercial consumers to do simple comparison-shopping, while giving power companies the opportunity to extend special offers and savings to potential new customers. It’s a win-win-win. - Recruited by Kleiner Perkins to co-found a company to provide customer acquisition services and platform technology to the deregulated energy industry and provide performance marketing to the energy vertical. - Designed and implemented a bespoke B2C comparison-shopping engine for the energy vertical within six months of establishing the company and formulated an electronic exchange to disrupt the commercial energy market. - At our peak, delivered 25% month over month growth. - Choose Energy was acquired by Red Ventures
