I was the Founder & CIO of Empiric Asset Management, a quantitative based hedge fund I founded in 2007. The Empiric Strategic Income Funds & Empiric Market Neutral Funds outperformed equity indices.

ARIS Capital Management is a fund of funds that employs a global multi-strategy investment approach. During my tenure at ARIS, I was responsible for sourcing new managers in addition to conducting investment and operational due diligence on potential fund investments. I had experience with all of the investment strategies while specializing in energy and special situations. I also built a suite of proprietary tools designed to quantitatively analyze the performance of funds and portfolios. Finally, I sat on the investment committee and had direct input in all investment decisions.
