- Leverage a consultative approach to develop new strategic relationships with leading technology companies and sponsors. - Conduct inquiry calls with venture capital and private equity investors to gather insider perspectives on strategy and valuation. - Structure credit facilities to support M&A, recapitalizations, restructurings, distributions, and working capital needs. - Build pro-forma financial models to estimate future cash flows and evaluate credit risk. - Lead transaction teams in executing all aspects of financing technology companies: conducting financial, market, and technical due diligence, both with management teams and third-party providers, with a particular emphasis on financial statements and KPI reports; partner with junior analysts in authoring and presenting synthesized analyses for executive management and credit committees; manage legal documentation; and promote derivative, treasury, and foreign exchange cross-sell partners.

- Actively managed a portfolio of 20 clients and over $100 million of senior debt commitments on a day-to-day basis, solving for client needs while maintaining necessary discipline and controls from a credit and regulatory perspective. - Selected by executive management to consult on a new software product that would redefine the bank’s operating model.

- Recruited to join a startup specialty lending group as the lead underwriter, interpreting and evaluating financial statements of innovative technology firms, spanning virtually the complete lifecycle (start-up and mature, sophisticated companies alike). - Engineered custom models to track opportunities, underwrite transactions, and monitor financial performance.

- Acted as lead associate, charged with authoring qualitative and quantitative credit memorandums, and monitoring financial covenant compliance, for specialized industries including the security alarm, agriculture, technology, and professional services industries, as well as generalists in manufacturing and distribution.

- Underwrote 90 distinct companies and transactions across a wide range of industries, by analyzing a diverse set of financial statements and market reports, totaling nearly $900 million of senior debt commitments. - Built various models that measure deal profitability and streamline covenant structuring, which were published bank wide.
