Products I've built: Pancake (2017) Home sharing via private networks. Designed UX/Built in React Native. Early (lack of) engagement and match making suggested it wasn't worth the opportunity cost of my time. TravelCo (2017) Auto-generated photo forward itineraries based on your phone's camera. Good reason to learn React Native and write some native bridges. Wanderfoot (2008-09) Visual discovery tool for architects and their clients. Library of 25K+ high quality images. Pinterest before Pinterest. Global Financial Crisis closed many architecture firms (that were our customers), so when they closed shop so did we. 99circles (2005-06) One of many social networking startups you've never heard of. The power of (lack of) network effects. Menuocity (2002-06) Online food & delivery service on college campuses. Knew nothing about sales or GTM. Executed the right strategy in the wrong market. Bandindex, acquired privately on eBay (1997-2002) One of the first music discovery tools on the Internet in the early 2000s. Got to meet/interview many of my favorite artists at the time. Best part was the reaction when they realized they were being interviewed by a 15 year old. Used the cash to purchase my first car — nothing left over.
