Identify opportunities for leveraging innovation to drive organizational improvement and change through a periodic comprehensive needs assessment. Engage with start-ups to identify potential fit and align with investment opportunities. Participate in overall organizational planning and management for CCA as part of our senior leadership team.

Led venture investment for Commonwealth Care Alliance's (CCA) venture investment subsidiary. Responsible for designing and building processes, policies, infrastructure and team for Winter Street. Align investment activity with innovation priorities for CCA. Serve as an advocate for venture investment with the executive team and Board of Directors.

Stepped in to lead Winter Street Ventures portfolio company LifePod after we took a majority stake in the company in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. LifePod is a proactive voice-based remote patient monitoring and engagement solution that enables payor and providers to identify and manage social, behavioral and medical needs.

Founded and led group responsible for venture investment, strategic partnerships and technology transfer for $8.5 billion academic medical center.

Led policy and research group responsible for advocating for the role of academic medical centers in identifying solutions to the challenges facing the American healthcare system.
