As CEO, my responsibilities include: - Creating the strategy + vision for sweetgreen - Leading & building a team of thinkers and doers ready to innovate + disrupt - Creating value for our guests, for our communities and for sweetgreen - Continually evolving and optimizing our approach to the restaurant business, with an eye for disruption and technological innovation - Building meaningful relationships with our team, customers, communities and suppliers - Investing in local communities — we invest time in cultivating authentic relationships, and we partner with local food access organizations (Fresh Truck, Hanks, Fresh Moves Mobile Market) to make real food more accessible in underserved communities Over the years, sweetgreen has received numerous accolades from the press including The Washington Post, USA Today, Food & Wine, Forbes, Bloomberg, Washingtonian, CBS, and CNBC, among others.
