  • U.S. Speaker's Program

    2019 - 2021

https://www.worldlearning.org/program/u-s-speaker-program/ I support U.S. foreign policy goals by interacting with key foreign audiences worldwide, promoting an understanding among foreign audience of U.S. policies and institutions, and the political, economic, social, and cultural context from which they arise. I engage in conversations that enable foreign audiences to learn more about U.S. society, culture and institutions, thereby supporting development and growth of political, economic, and social institutions abroad, and countering negative stereotypes. This establishes sustained relationships and linkages between U.S. speakers and foreign audiences and institutions in order to share knowledge and skills with their peers and broader communities.

Led USC’s Rocket Propulsion Laboratory (RPL), including during their first two attempts at becoming the first student group in the world to launch a rocket into space, over 100 km in altitude. My responsibilities including coordinating work between engineering leads, obtaining FAA launch licensing, composite filament winder development, and in-house simulation development. While leading RPL, I became the first student in the world to obtain a FAA launch license to fly a rocket to space. Additionally, we flew five unique vehicles; completed static fires of over a dozen solid rocket motors; and performed our first static fires of biprop engines, both a Hydrogen/Oxygen engine, and a Methane/Oxygen engine.
