d.light design is a global leader and pioneer in delivering affordable solar-powered solutions designed for the two billion people in the developing world without access to reliable energy. Through four hubs in Africa, China, South Asia and the United States, d.light has sold over 20 million solar light and power products in 65 countries, improving the lives of over 90 million people. My role with d.light involved managing our climate finance program and strategic projects.

The 2017 Global Solutions Program brought together a diverse group of 90 participants from 40 different countries to develop moonshot innovations to fight climate change. My main areas of research during the program included the scalability of solar-powered mini-grids in Sub-Saharan Africa and Central America and variations on traditional geothermal technology.

As a senior attorney in this group, I advised clients on all aspects of renewable energy project development, acquisitions, sales and financing for over 650 MW of solar and wind power capacity.

Curtis Mallet represents states and state-owned entities in some of the world's largest and most significant disputes. My practice there focused on ICSID and ICC disputes relating to energy and infrastructure projects, particularly with respect to the valuation of damages, as well as general corporate law.

The Timor-Leste Legal Education Project is a partnership among Stanford Law School, the National University of Timor-Leste, and The Asia Foundation that provides accessible textbooks on Timorese law. As an early participant, I developed and implemented a strategic plan for the project and co-authored a textbook on Timorese contract law.
