Primary role to lead the end to end BI Corporate reporting solutions (from raw data, data mgt/MDM/ETLs, databases, business analysis, project management and reporting) for RightShip across all global offices (Melbourne, London and Houston). RightShip Qi project (working with data warehouses, data analysis/management, Agile methodologies, SQL/SSIS/SSRS, IBM Cognos BI 10.2.2/11+, Tableau, Power BI, IBM SPSS applications, Auth0, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Apache Solr, Apache Storm, Maestro MDM, JS, Jira, Slack, Elasticsearch/Kibana and many more technologies). RightShip was formed to improve dry bulk safety and quality standards and draw on the significant ship vetting expertise of global commodity companies, BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto.

Australian Taxation Office (ATO Brisbane) Responsible for leading the Cognos report development (from conceptual to production) for the Client Profile dashboard ATO project. The ATO needed to accelerate development of visualization solutions using IBM Cognos platform, leading into Tax Time 2015. One of these key solutions was to develop a client profile report that provided tailored insight about ATO clients and their behavior. In addition, the report will support the inbound/outbound call centre staff (3000+), business processes and identify opportunities to improve the individual customer’s experience by promoting digital services (e.g. myTax, myGov) tailored to their needs.

• Responsible for leading development and project management of end-to-end Business Intelligence Data Analytics, Data Warehousing and Reporting solutions/offerings to a number of mid to large sized clients with IBM contracts valued in the millions of dollars. Taking the lead on many projects as the technical subject area expert and managing/working with various on-shore/off-shore teams. • Worked closely with executive level stakeholders and provided thought leadership to the business to ensure successful design and implementation of technology strategies that align with corporate goals and strategies. • Involved in all aspects of software/systems development lifecycle, application architecture, business/functional requirements, technical specifications, packaged solutions, methodologies, data source connections, database/meta-data/dimensional management & modelling, ETL/OLAP cubes, reporting, project management, maintenance, support and training. • Developed hundreds of Business Intelligence data transformation jobs and reports using primarily SAP Business Objects, IBM DB2, IBM Cognos, IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Oracle/Hyperion BI Suite and MS Office/Excel technologies. • As an IBM Certified IT Business Intelligence/PM Specialist and IBM Certified Cognos Report Designer, I have assisted in developing the capabilities of others through effective mentoring, coaching, professional development and performance management.
