Kalei Ventures is a Latin American focused venture capital fund that invests in early stage technology companies that have a commitment to apply innovative solutions in emerging markets. Our investment strategy is predicated in the firm's ability to help entrepreneurs access mentorship, follow-on funding and exit opportunities in USA and Europe in addition to Latin America. We invest primarily in Argentina, Mexico and opportunistically look for deals in the rest of the region. We invest in companies with high growth potential beyond Latin America and that are focused on sectors related to food, health, energy, finance and education, in which technology innovation acts as a platform or enabler for disruption (mobile, social networking, IOT, Blockchain, Cloud services or e-commerce). We aim to solve the shortcomings that high potential Latin American startups have faced when chasing a global market. We structure a fund with both, local expertise and global networks to allow that to happen.
