    Responsible for investment opportunities for BASF Ventures with a focus in China. Completed two new investments and one follow-up round investment in two Chinese start-ups. One is an AIoT start-up in livestock digitalization, and the other is a leading drone company specialized in agriculture applications. Co-investors include Temasek, CITIC agiculture, Continental Grain Corp. and Evonik etc. Actively engaged in portfolio management as board observers post investment. Also reviewed and initiated engagements with personal care related start-ups from BASF strategic perspective. Actively engaged with both start-ups and downstream customers like L'Oreal, Unilever to discover joint value creation opportunities.

    Started and managed the corporate development and strategy function in Asia. Worked with BCG, Mckinsey and ATK on company strategies both on a global scale and on a local level.
