During this time I oversaw the successful certification of the following for the Columbia 300, 350 & 400 model aircraft: o Garmin G1000 o XM Weather o Ryan TCAD o Air Conditioning o 14V to 28V Conversion o Numerous composite material substitutions Critical signatory for engineering approval prior to airworthiness certification of each delivered aircraft, which resulted in a revenue impact of ~$300M. Main point of contact for the FAA in resolving all certification issues. Reviewed and approved engineering design changes for compliance with federal regulations in the form of non-compliance reports, drawings, and service documents. Created and tracked compliance plans to satisfy FAA regulations which required: determining schedules, coordinating with engineering personnel to assure a timely completion of certification documentation and coordinating with manufacturing and quality personnel for article completion and conformity.
