    Conceived and managed every operational and strategic element of the Company, including technology, product development, editorial and sales, from founding the company in 2004, to its very successful acquisition by Yahoo in 2010. Known as the first and perhaps the largest crowd sourcing content collection platform in the world, Associated Content enabled hundreds of thousands of individuals to publish and generate revenue from the millions of articles, videos and images they contributed. Associated Content built the web’s largest freelancer community and distributed that community’s content itself and through media partners, including Reuters, Yahoo and Turner. As founder and CEO, defined the initial and moving-forward vision, raised 17M venture capital from top VCs in New York and Silicon Valley and assembled a Board of Directors that included some of digital Media’s most noteworthy thought leaders, including Tim Armstrong (CEO, AOL), Mike Perlis (CEO, Forbes) and Ron Conway (SV Angel).
