Top technology employee responsible for managing IT, development, and reporting, also responsible for developing the over all technology strategy and road map. Designed and developed real-time ticketing platform for dynamically priced and packaged products resulting in 2 issued patents. Grew a 14 person team to develop and deploy next generation e-commerce platform for b2c commerce as well as b2c2b ticketing. The platform included mobile apps and web apps for ticketing, commerce, and validation on iOS, Android and mobile web. Moved a custom distributed 1,000 node smart card terminal network to soap based real time mobile QR validation system in 2 years. Chief architect for next generation Go Select product leveraging Spring 3, JPA, Jboss Rules, and Eclipse RCP, Verifone Verix/EVO terminal platform. Managed and extended our e-commerce platform servicing 3MM page views/month and 75% of total revenue 30MM+ / year. Rolled out lightweight scrum development process with strict adherence to one-week development cycles. Developed core object model and service infrastructure for Go Select and Digital Go Card products.

Developed first mobile web and mobile commerce presence. Architected next generation production server environment. Managed 800+ Smart Card network. Wrote cross a platform Java based POS, using SWT, Webstart and POI. Extended and updated PHP-based sales, accounting and terminal maintenance apps.

Developed and deployed high availability production server environment with all open source tools, including load balancers, web servers, application servers, content and database servers. Managed and worked alongside development staff to deploy next generation e-commerce web platform, responsible for 70% of corporate revenue. Platform built on Spring, OpenJPA, and Velocity. First role at company was to deploy the complete core office infrastructure from procurement to deployment including: E-mail, IMAP, instant messenger (XMPP), version control, single sign-on system, file servers, VOIP, POTS and internet. Also, managed deployment of Asterisk based PBX/CS call queue, and developed and deployed fault tolerant production web server, application server and database environment using all open source tools.

Principle architect and developer for J2EE based network appliance. Made all core technology decisions including hardware, OS and development platforms. Core components and design patterns included: JBoss AS, Tomcat, Struts, Velocity, Hibernate, Quartz, MVC/Model 2 and DAO. Designed and implemented cross platform development environment and unattended hardware build platform using Apache Ant, cygwin, kick-start and custom RPM package repository. Designed and developed embedded Linux start up/disaster recovery environment for the bs600 wireless switch.

Completed several projects including: deployed corporate wide backup system, installed and deployed windows desktop environment, wrote Perl based network and system monitoring scripts, reverse engineered network protocol for scrolling LED sign and wrote Perl scripts to automate sign updates and provided a web interface.Wrote varios monitoring parsing scripts in perl on solaris for secure log, sar, http access log. Deployed Solaris kick start server environment for one click provisioning of development systems.
