Plaza Ventures is a growth-stage venture capital firm that puts people first. Our core micro-fund model is designed to efficiently pool capital from PV’s high-net-worth investor community into annual investment vehicles focused on Series A and Series B investments. These micro-funds have built a proven track record, backing successful entrepreneurs through multiple funding rounds. In 2018, PV pioneered the first Secondary Market Fund in Canada, Plaza Ventures Special Opportunity Fund I (‘PVSOF I’). The mandate of the Fund is to acquire direct secondary shares from early angel investors and/or employees in very late-stage, iconic Canadian tech companies.
