Player X began as a small start-up mobile media company and was sold to the Zed Group for £10 million in May 2009. As one of the company's first employees I was a leading member of the management team and made the introduction to Zed, the eventual purchasers of the company. I also helped to set up the company's highly successful unit; In my time at the company I signed deals with some of the world's leading companies including Universal, Nokia, Aardman, FremantleMedia and also took SCEE games content to mobile, the first time the company had licensed its products to a Third Party. While at the company we won The Best Video and TV Service Provider at the ME Awards, were nominated for Best Content Award at 2008 Meffys, the only mobile company in the 2009 Red Herring Global 100 and in 2008 Library House named us as the 4th fastest-growing VC-backed company in the UK.

Victoria Real was the company that designed and built the website to stream the UK's first TV series of Big Brother. I negotiated with Channel 4 to grant me sole ownership of all Big Brother internet PR. This was vindicated when 'Nasty Nick' was evicted from the show, broadcasting history was made and an enthralled UK public watched the internet live, instead of waiting for delayed TV transmission.
