Due to lockdown and restrictions during COVID-19 restaurants and bars were experiencing at least 80% loss in traffic. To support our favourite restaurants and bars we created yourlocalhero.org, a digital solution to buy gift cards. We got together a group of friends and created a solution in less than 24h using Typeform and Stripe. In less than a month we sold for more than 100K SEK in gift cards to our favourite spots in Copenhagen, Malmö and Helsingborg.
