Identified innovation priorities and built collaborative relationships with emerging businesses, leveraging internal expertise to support the development and growth of breakthrough technologies to improve the patient and physician experiences of care. Supported $40M strategic fund, led the investment process for several emerging technologies (RPA, ML, NLP), to improve healthcare operations, and supported structuring and scaling commercial partnerships with these companies. Led nationally-recognized legislative effort to reform oversight of the pharmaceutical industry for Chairman Jeff Sanchez, in response to a national outbreak of fungal meningitis. Worked with local and national stakeholders to author legislation that was eventually signed into law by Governor Deval Patrick as Chapter 159 of the Acts of 2014. Appointed to the NCSL Health and Human Services Committee.
