Integrated Ag LP is an agricultural investment firm specializing in agricultural commodities. Integrated Ag controls physical crops by leasing or purchasing land and bringing in a farming partner. Integrated Ag controls the land and produces crops at cost using USDA crop insurance and derivatives to manage risk. In terms of Insurable crops Integrated Ag is primarily focused on cotton, corn, wheat, and barley which are all included in the USDA crop insurance program, and have publicly traded futures and options contracts. The firm also engages in arbitrage transactions related to feed crops such as Alfalfa and Sorghum that are exported to the Middle East and China where they sell for large premiums to their cost of production. Integrated Ag is geographically focused on the South Western United States primarily Arizona and California.
