Discontinued the project and focused the strategy on Managed Services, an initiative that was in line with client needs and with SimCorp’s requirements for an attractive return on investment.

Initiated the market strategy that ensured landing license agreements with some of the most prominent financial institutions in North America. Created the foundation for what has turned out to be a primary growth driver of SimCorp.

Main Achievements: Played a key part in the acquisition of the IT/2 treasury business from Bank of America. Succeeded in migrating legacy system clients to IT/2. Contributed to a product development strategy that matured IT/2 to a level where it could be divested.

Head of Cash Management Sales and Cash Management Advisory Services in the corporate banking segment. Main Achievements: Created the Sales and Advisory team from scratch following major restructurings in 1992. Developed Unibank’s international cash management strategy covering the bank’s international network as well as the IBOS Association (a group of European and North American Banks working together to form a global cash management concept). Established Unibank as the leading international cash management bank in Denmark.
