2016 - 2019

- Helped build up a new pancreatic cancer research laboratory - Kimmelman lab at Department of Radiation Oncology as the 1st team member. Led lab planning; managed startup projects; supported team growth by 5X within the first year. - Took charge of sourcing and purchasing; conducted due diligence and negotiated with vendors; managed 6 public and private grants; helped with budgeting, spending control and grant financial reports. - Supported research projects; supervised research animals; completed full colony import from Jackson Laboratory. - Maintained databases and inventories; engaged in cross-functional collaborations with various divisions/departments. - Partnered with Technology Opportunities & Ventures to facilitate technology & material transfers. - Drafted and maintained animal study, biosafety and other research protocols.

- Managed and ran operations of a neuroscience research laboratory at Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine. - Assisted with research projects, managed lab expenditures, database, equipment, and research animals.

- Launched a molecular study of grass tribe Stipeae and Miscanthus, an ornamental crop and biofuel, at the State Key Laboratory of Systematic and Evolutionary Botany. - Helped organize an international workshop to launch "Flora of Pan-Himalayas" project in collaborations with 11 countries.
