Upon moving to San Diego, realized how siloed the ecosystem was, founded a group (4 original co-founders) to build a more supportive startup community. Since then we've create 7 entrepreneur-centric programs, each running many events over the past 2 years, helped over 200 companies, looped in the best 50 successful entrepreneurs and investors in town, held ~60 different events and started the annual San Diego Startup Week (in its 2nd year now). Personally, advise a handful of companies and run 2-3 events per month. Designed the EvoStart accelerator program and spend ~10-20 hours per month with the companies.
