After being a member for 1.5 years I was able to take the role of chair of BOM's works council. In this role I was responsible for leading the team in engaging with colleagues, management, directors and stakeholders for matters that concern employees. Topics included organizational changes, employee benefits and employee well being.

What Brabant Ventures does: Helping promising ventures to start, grow and scale by means of investment, advice and our large network, amongst others. The investments are done with our publicly funded funds, from which we invest in great teams and companies that have the potential to grow and scale and hereby create economic- and societal impact. These are mostly early-stage technology based ventures that are active within our focus sectors: High-tech, Soft-tech, Life-tech, Med-tech, Ag-/Food-tech/industrial Biotech. Each of these sectors has a specialized team of investment and business development professionals with the right set of skills and experience. My role was right in between getting ventures ready to invest and investing; with a focus on Ag-/Foodtech and Industrial Biotech. Actively scouted for ventures from the very earliest stages. From then me and my colleagues teamed up to support ventures in acquiring funding, growing, scaling and anything else that they need to succeed. My experience allows me to contribute to many different topics, ranging from tech to team, business development, deal structuring and financials.

Managing the complete process of acquiring subsidies, loans and fiscal benefits for innovating companies. Responsible for account- and project management of a portfolio consisting of clients in the IT and (high-)tech industries, ranging from micro- to stock exchange listed companies. Responsible for projects with technical, business-economical and strategic contents. Worked in close cooperation with clients and people ranging from board level, to engineers and project managers. This has strengthened my ablities to cooperate and communicate with different levels and on diverse topics. With a small team we managed to grow Real1ze quickly and significantly while strongly professionalizing the business.
