    Upon joining Presidio in 2009 through the merger with Coleman Technologies, Inc., Mr. Patz assumed operational oversight responsibility for Presidio's largest operating region, Presidio South. Mr. Patz then became COO. As COO he had an active role in business operations throughout the company and direct oversight of several innovating technology areas at Presidio. These areas include the custom hardware and software group (Systems Engineering), the contact center group, and the healthcare vertical group. Presidio specializes in information system design, implementation, and management along with the design and development of customized hardware and software solutions for converged information system environments. Presidio focuses on customers with challenging information system problems requiring immediate and practical solutions.

    Mr. Patz co-founded Coleman Technologies, Inc. in 1995 which merged with Presidio in December 2009. At CTI he oversaw all operations of the company from its earliest stages as a startup to approximately 500 employees at its merger. During his tenure, CTI was ranked by Deloitte as the #1 fastest growing company in Florida, one of the top 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America, and in 2002 Mr Patz received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the State of Florida for services organizations. He enjoyed technical challenges even when in leadership roles and successfully led TeamUCF to the finals of the DARPA Urban Challenge, an autonomous vehicle competition, where the team (UCF and CTI) developed and demonstrated a full-sized autonomous vehicle in a series of rigorous navigation tests.

    1986 - 1995

    Prior to founding CTI, Mr. Patz managed advanced programs for Coleman Research Corporation in the areas of kinetic energy weapon design, analysis, and test support using end-to-end high fidelity simulations developed specifically for the purpose. He was principal investigator on a number Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grants relating to the application of Fuzzy Logic and Neural Networks to control systems.
