I oversee all verticals, targeting early stage startups with a preference for young founders within Canada. I led research on portfolio companies Frenter, Deskree, Monark, Holdr, Retreats and Venues, Sipply, Superpanel, Haloo, PureCode AI, Quorum Earth, Unified and Rainbo.

Create dynamic performance tables by collecting and filtering available data; use of MS SQL Server Management Studio and SylvanPad. Contribute to final iteration of the mock-up investment report, new format presented to clients in quarterly report release. Manage email automation project for internal requests regarding quarterly performance commentary and data. Design software program to automate certain build components of client reports and presentations; use of HTML, Python. Integrate data from newly onboarded clients into existing client workbooks. Handle ad-hoc deliverables at the request of the senior analysts, managers and directors.

    Establish a club constitution, onboarding documents for new members and activity calendar with forecasted budget details. Hire for new positions in Business Technology, Community Outreach and Human Resources. Recruit for competitions and assist in forming teams for the Rotman Interactive Trading Competition and the CFA Institute Research Challenge. Coordinate plans with the faculty and Dean’s office and negotiate requests for funding. I oversaw an increase in attendance for all competitions, submitted entrants for two competitions new to the club, promoted collaboration between students majoring in Finance and in Computer Science, strengthened relationships with the faculty and community, and established connections that led us to a redesign of our branding and gaining important sponsorship opportunities going forward.
