We back problems worth fighting for. Because our entrepreneurs believe they are worth dying for. We identify critical global-scale challenges and fund companies with breakthrough technologies that address these problems. We believe in rigor, in taking chances without taking a chance. We believe in finding the most compelling of all problems. Because problems create markets. Markets create successes. Our process helps us find them. We hope you find yours too.

I'm a satellite CSO. I don't sit in the office. I go out and look for actual, tangible opportunities that help inform the strategic direction of the company. Rather than sitting in front of the whiteboard, I traverse the globe and look for exciting, world-changing technologies that our company can adopt. Then at night, I come home and get on Skype with my team. You see, strategy is about 5% of what I do. Real strategy work has 5% to do with "strategizing" and 95% to do with "implementing." That's how I spend my time: implementing the strategy. I help my teams at all level implement. I help think of the smallest possible pilot program we can do to leverage the technology I found. I help them find resources and change policies. I am a cure to an innovator dilemma. I protect the baby world-changing ideas with my life, and groom her until she's ready to take over the world.
