    Directed 4 year project to develop methods for assessing advanced titanium alloys for Rolls-Royce plc. Awarded 3 year Industrial Fellowship from the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 to broaden research impact, worth £70,000. Wrote innovative software in MATLAB to enable overnight materials assessment, generating structure-property relationships 3000% faster than conventional methods. Led international project to halve experimental fatigue costs using Bayesian Optimisation. Invited to incorporate methodology into Rolls-Royce practice. Collaborated with researchers across 4 departments, 4 universities, and 2 continents, leading to 7 academic publications including in Acta Materialia. Presented findings to industrial colleagues and international conferences; awarded prizes for scientific presentation at Oxford Local IOM3 Young Members Lecture Competition, departmental Hetherington Prize, and the EIS 2021 Peter Watson Prize. -Placement at Rolls-Royce Derby & Singapore Analysed product safety and reliability data in advanced manufacturing methods. Integrated into advanced repair technology team, project managed for failure detection project leading to a departmental report, and collaborated with NTU to create novel test specimen geometry enabling additive manufacturing qualification.
