Created over 35 years ago by Hubert Desjoyeaux, CDK Technologies is a leading boat builder in the domain of large-scale high-performance composite parts. The yard is able to step up to the plate in the provision of all the parts that make up a racing yacht: multihull and monohull platforms, masts, booms and foils for the Ultim, Ocean Fifty and Imoca categories. The track record racked up by the 40 boats built by the yard – which includes thirty or so titles in major races – makes CDK Technologies the gold standard yard. It will also be the most widely represented yard in the new cycle of races. The expertise amassed by the hundred or so associates of CDK Technologies across its two sites in Lorient and Port-La-Forêt alongside the top skippers, together with the only production tooling of its kind in Europe for the processing of carbon, mean that the yard plays a key role in the decarbonisation of the marine industry, particularly through its participation in the consortium initiated by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique in the realisation of the ‘Silenseas’ project.
